Why Today Is Always Right

Am I too old to learn coding? Am I too old to play piano? Am I too old to go to college?

So many of us feel like we’ve missed our shot to do what we’ve always wanted because, somehow, life got in the way.

Now we have to work, pay bills, do chores and groceries, maintain our social and family life, and find time to pursue this new interest of ours.

Of course, we can find time. That’s not the problem. But is it enough to make the impact we want and achieve meaningful growth and change?

Well, that depends on your goals. But one thing is certain: whatever your age and life situation, you’ll never find a better time to start than now.

Sure, you may not be able to pour in as much time into your new project or passion as you would like. But you’ll get further this way than by waiting for the fabled ‘opportune’ moment. Whatever that is.

If you don’t take action now, you’ll just look back at this time in your life years later and kick yourself in the head. “Boy, I could have had years of practice by now and yet I have zilch. Why didn’t I just go for it?”

You’ll feel this way at any age.

Whether you’re in your thirties condemning your twenty-year-old self, or whether you’re in your sixties condemning your fifty-year-old self.

No matter how old you are, today is the day. It’s never any different.

P.S. Afraid you’re too late to get the results you want? Do it anyway. You’ll never know until you try. Besides, following your curiosities and passions is more exciting than sitting on your ass.
